1.THE BEST STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE RECIPE







INGREDIENTS

  • 1 CUP FROZEN BERRIES
  • 1 BANANA, MEDIUM
  • 1 CUP MILK
  • CINNAMON (OPTIONALLY)





INSTRUCTIONS


  1. ADD ALL INGREDIENTS TO YOUR BLENDER, BLEND UNTIL SMOOTH AND SERVE IMMEDIATELY. IF THE SMOOTHIE TURNS OUT TOO THICK FOR YOUR TASTE - ADD SOME MORE MILK, IF TOO LIQUID - ADD MORE FRUIT. I ADDED JUST A TINY PINCH OF CINNAMON BEFORE BLENDING, WAS A GOOD ADDITION.







2.SIMPLE STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE



INGREDIENTS


  • 1 1/2 CUP FROZEN STRAWBERRIES PARTIALLY DEFROSTED (TO THE POINT THAT YOU CAN JUST SLICE WITH A KNIFE)
  • 1 CUP CRUSHED ICE
  • 1/2 CUP NON-FAT PLAIN YOGURT OR GREEK YOGURT
  • 1 TEASPOON LEMON JUICE
  • 1 TABLESPOON STEVIA SUGAR BLEND 2 TABLESPOONS SUGAR OR 4 PACKETS OF SPLENDA OR OTHER SWEETENER OF CHOICE.




INSTRUCTIONS


  1. CUT STRAWBERRIES INTO LARGE CHUNKS.
  2. PLACE INGREDIENTS IN BLENDER AND COVER WITH TOP. BLEND UNTIL SMOOTH.






3.Strawberry Blueberry Smoothie




Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries - about 10 medium/large berries
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 5-ounce container nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Optional additions: a scoop of protein powder - chia or flax seeds, honey, or pure maple syrup for extra sweetness



Instructions



  1. Place all of the ingredients in a high powered blender in the order listed: almond milk, strawberries, blueberries, yogurt, and cinnamon. Blend until smooth.
  2. If you’d like a thinner smoothie, splash in a bit more milk. For a thicker smoothie, add a few handfuls of ice. Enjoy immediately, or place in an airtight jar and refrigerate for a few hours.
